St. John Health’s vision for the future is clearly focused on providing the highest quality patient care experience in all that we do. To accomplish this, health system leadership recently announced several major, patient-focused expansion projects:
St. John Hospital and Medical Center - Van Elslander Pavilion
Plans include construction of the Van Elslander Pavilion, a $163 million, 288,000 square-foot addition with 144 private rooms, the Shelden Heart and Circulatory Center, Fontbonne Auxiliary Diagnostic Imaging Center (to include X-ray, MRI, and CT), lab services, and much more! Renovations also are planned in the St. John Guild Emergency Center, which will include an expanded and redesigned Center with private treatment modules to improve patient privacy and patient satisfaction; improved ambulance accessibility by relocating the emergency entrance closer to Moross Road; and more convenient patient parking.Click here for photos and more construction information.
St. John Medical Center - Macomb Township
.The St. John Medical Center - Macomb Township includes outpatient surgical suites, 24-hour emergency and urgent care services, an Endoscopy Center, Eastside Pediatrics, imaging services (including MRI, CT, general radiology, and ultrasound), laboratory and pharmacy services, and outpatient surgery.
The site also will include a medical office building designed to house St. John Health specialty physicians, as well as Centers of Excellence for cardiology and oncology. Completion is scheduled for January 2008. This $23 million project will increase health care options for northern Macomb County residents and help serve as a crucial step toward our vision of providing the highest quality patient care experience every day, everywhere, for everyone.
New St. John hospital in Novi
Construction of a new hospital on the Providence Park campus in Novi is under way. Currently, the facility offers a comprehensive array of outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, 24-hour emergency care, cancer care and physician offices. Construction of the new hospital is targeted to finish by summer 2008.
