The new Providence Park Hospital is open on the campus at Grand River and Beck Road in Novi. The large outpatient medical center as well as the award-winning Assarian Cancer Center remain as important health care services to the community.
A large Medical Office Building (MOB) and Neuroscience Institute, an Orthopedic Center with an Ambulatory Surgical Center as well as a Staybridge Suites hotel have also been added to the campus.
Square Footage:
- Hospital: 500,000 sq. ft.
- Outpatient medical center: 250,000 sq. ft.
- Medical Office Building and Neuroscience Institute: 210,000 sq. ft.
- Orthopedic Center including an Ambulatory Surgical Center: 60,000 sq. ft.
- Hotel: 108 rooms
Inpatient beds:
- The new hospital has 200 beds with capacity for an additional 68.
Physicians:
- The new campus has approximately 300 physicians. This number includesthose at the outpatient medical center the hospital, MOB and Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Associates/Employees:
- Currently on campus there are over 500 persons employed.
- The opening of the new hospital, MOB, Ambulatory Surgical Center, hotel and retail area will bring approximately 1,200 additional employees to the campus.
Operating Rooms:
- The hospital has eight operating rooms with shell space for two additional rooms.
- In addition, there are four Invasive Procedure Rooms for catheterization, electrophysiology, and bi-plane procedures.
- There is a Surgical and Procedural Skills Education Center - a specialized training laboratory where surgeons and other physicians can practice complex surgical and interventional procedures.
